30 Days of Sunsets and Rainbows in Costa Rica

It has been about 1 month since my last blog post. During that time I have compiled a sequence of incredible sunsets and rainbows from our home in San Isidro de Grecia. Since we are so close to the cloud forest of the Po├ís Volcano, we have slowly shifted into the dry season a bit later than the coastal areas. In fact, we still get daily mists which create spectacular rainbows, arco iris as well as sensational sunsets, puestas del sol. Some days, we even get a double rainbow. Some days we even get 2 separate rainbows, but always followed by a beautiful sunset. Our children have learned to always look up when we head outside.
Here is a photo of Sofia eating Jerky while admiring another work of art in the sky. We may not have the best views in Costa Rica, by far; however, we do enjoy the simple things in life, so I thought I would create a snapshot of our views, day and night because there is so much more to Costa Rica than beaches and snakes. I hope you enjoy. Pura Vida!

When you realize how perfect everything is you will tilt your head back and laugh at the sky. ~Buddha
